The customer: FST Filtertechnik
FST Filtertechnik GmbH is a hidden champion among German medium-sized businesses, headquartered in Essen and Netphen. The company manufactures high-quality components for compressed air and gas treatment: from compressed air dryers and filters to nitrogen generators and condensate technology – FST exports its products to business customers worldwide.
With over 40 specialists, FST offers not only technology but also service ranging from consulting to maintenance. The focus is clearly on quality and international success.
The relaunch focused on reaching customers worldwide. To achieve this, FST relied on my strategic B2B SEO strategy to generate organic website traffic, including from English-speaking countries, and thereby acquire additional industrial clients.

The project: B2B SEO strategy for fstweb.de
My task was to develop a B2B SEO strategy that would make FST Filtertechnik more visible worldwide.
The highly complex topic of compressed air filters proved particularly challenging. I conducted the keyword research in close consultation with the experts at FST. Together, we identified the relevant terms that international B2B customers are searching for.
In addition to the strategy, I created the SEO texts for all pages, coordinated the website translation into English, and took over the entire project management – between two agencies and FST's internal marketing.

The result
2x more top 100 keywords
Within the first six weeks after the relaunch, the top 10 keywords increased significantly from 154 to 248. We almost doubled the top 100 keywords, from 558 to 1010.
4x visibility
Visibility has increased fourfold in FST's key target markets, both in Germany and internationally (UK, USA).

The central SEO pages – “Frequently Asked Questions” and “Products” – are developing as strong traffic drivers, as planned in the SEO strategy.
For our relaunch, Monika explained the why and how of SEO and created a clearly structured content plan, which she adhered to punctually. The structure, texts, and design of the new website are well received – despite the technical nature of the content, which required intensive input.
