bauhaus.info is the website of a chain of hardware stores that caters to handymen and DIY enthusiasts. DWA is an agency that exclusively works for BAUHAUS.

I have been writing DIY guides and category copy for DWA since 2022, as well as revising the client’s existing SEO content. In addition to keyword research and topic planning for various texts, I proactively advise the BAUHAUS digital marketing team on content design and SEO best practices.

SEO strategy for FST relaunch

mbon, Moers/DE

fstweb.de is the website of a specialist filter manufacturer based in Essen, Germany. mbon is a Typo3 agency that has been working with FST for years.

mbon brought me on board as an SEO consultant and project manager. For the relaunch, I researched keywords and developed an SEO and content strategy. Based on this, I wrote SEO copy combined with an appealing content design.

As the PM, I supervised seven external freelancers as well as mbon and FST employees through to the go-live. My role was to support the translation of the German website into English and the implementation of website design and programming.

German content for Courage-App

DieProduktMacher, Munich/DE

MUT is an app that helps children and their families cope with terminal illness. Mut is the German word for courage. TheProduktMacher was appointed as the agency for the entire implementation of this app, I acted as a subcontractor.

For this project, I created consistent content throughout the app, making the detailed FAQs easy to read for both children and parents.

I also coordinated the translation with native English speakers and set up a translation database for three languages. I also worked with the design team at DieProduktMacher to create user-friendly microcopy.

I also check whether the briefings are in line with current SEO trends and best practice. If I see potential for improvement, I proactively suggest adjustments. This ensures that your content is always up to date.

If during my research I discover a keyword with a higher search volume, I will consult with you briefly. We may be able to include it in the briefing and reach many more clients. Or a keyword may be used elsewhere. Then we can change it at an early stage before your customer has spent money on an “unnecessary” piece of German content.
