How does a startup in the competitive health tech industry get onto page 1 of Google? I implemented exactly that for the SaaS provider Roger – with a tailor-made SEO strategy for startups and relevant SEO contents.

The customer: Roger

Roger, a health tech SaaS company, was founded as a startup in 2021. It offers dental practices a software solution for automating administrative tasks. The goal is to make daily practice operations more efficient, relieve the burden on the team, and increase patient satisfaction.

Roger approached me as a startup in the go-to-market phase: The proof of concept had already been established. The relaunch now focused on selling the dental software to as many dentists as possible. 

To achieve this, Roger relies on my strategic SEO strategy for start-ups to generate organic traffic via the website and thus attract more dental practices.


The project: SEO strategy for a start-up

I conducted thorough keyword research beforehand : In a small B2B niche like dental software, even small search volumes are extremely valuable.

Roger's internal team will continue to create ongoing content for the blog, FAQs, and landing pages, aligning with the SEO strategy and key keywords. I developed a content template and corresponding AI prompts for this purpose.

Based on this, I created an SEO and content strategy and SEO contents for all static pages. These were gradually implemented live on goroger.com.

The result

6x more top 100 keywords


We were able to almost sextuple the number of top 100 keywords in the first six weeks, from 51 to 290. Organic traffic doubled from 279 to 527. Visibility is also growing rapidly.

Page 1 after 6 weeks


With the first relevant keywords from the core keyword set, Roger was already on page 1 after 6 weeks: e.g. for "dentist whatsapp" in 2nd place or "increase sales dental practice" in 3rd place.

SEO strategy is working


The core SEO pages – “Dental Software”, “FAQ”, and “Knowledge” – are proving to be strong traffic drivers, as planned in the SEO strategy. I am monitoring their continued development .
